Ok. So I've been pretty crappy with updating this thing lately..but I've had ssooo much going on that this unfortunately has been at the bottom of my list of things to do I supposed lol!

I have a new job..I will be starting on Thursday of this week! YAY!! No more direct care for me..I needed a change, and I needed to start feeling empowered in my life again...no more being the victim, it's old and tired and I need to start acting like I have been the past month..with at least some discretion and using my brain!!!

Christmas and my birthday are quickly approaching and ..unlike last year when I was almost done shopping by this time, I've only bought ONE present..NOT good!!!!

I've been working out more and watching what I've been eating..and already in the last week I have lost ALMOST a lb! woo! So hopefully I can at least keep that up to be where I want to be in a couple months and not feel so out of shape and flabby!!

- I work at another place but the same company

- I live in a new city

- which means I live in a new apartment

- I live with my Will I am

- We just celebrated our 7 Year anniversary

- I miss my Keather and my sisters..least I get to see the sisters though..Keather is in TN!

- It's almost Halloween!

- I need to start wedding planning!

- I have a much more positive outlook than a month ago!

- I'm working out more again! wooo! I hate my body and I am working to change it back :)

So this is the "month of change" for me..or so I've dubbed it! Too much going on and I'm attempting to keep as much stability in my life as possible..mind you it's really difficult when somethings are changing for me either way :(

First off...Next Friday is my last day at TJS ..I'm going to miss it and some of my favorite staff members (they know who they are!!!) like crazy..I'm going to be leaving them there and I'll be starting a new job that following monday..More like the same job just at a different establishment..ah!

Also the Friday after I start that said job we are MOVING..so that's about 2 1/2 weeks away too and I'm really starting to freak out about it. I'll be moving in with William after living by myself for the past 2 1/2 years..so it's kind of weird.. plus instead of the small little place I live at now..I'll be living in a bigger city..scary i tell ya :(

Gosh I'm going to miss people though... :(:( Already do

Gustav's Fury!

So Hurricane Gustav has begun to really move..Currently the winds of Gustav are around 150mph and it's headed for the Gulf Coast of the US.

I hope all of those that were there for Katrina 3 years ago are getting the hell out of dodge at this point!!! It's possible that the current category 4 hurricane could be a 5 at landfall and that is terrifying and amazing. Just think of something that strong and powerful that NO ONE has any control over. Weather is fascinating to me..an obsession if you will...

So the crazy of my life has gotten in the way of my amazing blog updates! Not good!! I love this thing and I think this is only my second post this MONTH!!! weird!

Anyways..here's what's been going on:

- I had a job interview and they are calling my references..I hope I get the job ..and I hope the pay is at least what I'm making now so I can take said new job. Yes I would love to have more money but I can deal with what I'm making now for a better overall schedule! So wish me luck! :)

- I'm moving in with my wonderful Will I am..sometime in mid September..I'm really scared but I'm excited :)

- My family is moving to where my dad's fiance lives..yeah..

- I will have to leave a job that I actually feel confident in myself at..which is weird..when I started I was sooo nervous and horrible and now I'll be moving to a new place and new people and my social anxiety has began even before anything has been officially decided.

- The Cruise/Florida fun times is in 2 weeks :) I'm really excited ..I cannot WAIT to go on vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- I'm still working out a lot..but not as much as last month..life has gotten in the way some so I'm trying to get myself going hardcore again. I did 6 miles on the gazelle today and the past 2 days I had 13 miles on the bike..so that is positive. I can't wait to move so I can use a treadmill and have a "workout buddy" hahah :)

Anyways, I'm watching Star Trek - TNG on Sci Fi so i'm going to go concentrate :)!

Oh the places they will go

So my dad is going to be getting hitched around January ( at least that's the rumor that I heard). Yes I talk to my father some but I never really get a full story on anything and I don't feel comfortable to be in the house when his future wife is there.

They are going to be moving into the town that she lives in now..about 3 or 4 houses down actually from her current house. Her daughter who is in college now is upset b/c my family will be taking over her space. Mind you my dad and her mom are moving into a NEW house and she is in college and will never be there..Honestly it would at least make sense if they all were going to live in the same house that she does now..but they aren't....

I also found out that b/c of HER feeling so uncomfortable at family functions..ie holidays and everyone is "too stuck up" for her. That all of the holiday's are now going to be spent at HER place. Mind you she has HUGE greek family (that I've never met ..ever). The reason why all holiday's are going to be with her family is because this past Thanksgiving it was at my dad's and my sisters, my one set of grandparents, and her and her daughter were there. I tried all of the bizarre food and the only people I felt comfortable talking to were my sisters at the time so we made jokes and tried to make the best of a bad situation..that was apparently "snickering" and being "very rude". I also ended up going into a room ALONE for a couple hours and at one point Cass found me and talked to me a little bit. Well that was apparently rude too..imagine that because I ..a have social anxiety and b just generally feel horrible around someone that I try to be rude and be there BUT at the same time I find a place to actually be me. She apparently cried and cried with her daughter..b/c everyone was so rude. Does she actually think that Cass and I even enjoyed that in the least bit? And of course my dad just yells at us for being rude when he knows us and knows how we are around people ..but he doesn't REALLY care about us anymore anyway...

Also it's been claimed that my grandmother (mom's mom) is trying to break up the family. I had to pick up Rachel from there last Sunday and I was with Cass. We ended up sitting down and talking to my grandmother for HOURS about things. And then I came back with them and my dad asked if I was going to stay for a little bit (mind you ..my dad's gf/fiance was there) so I decided ..honestly for my own sake (mostly fear of being rude or saying the wrong thing PLUS being talked out) that I would leave. That caused my dad and his GF to go into another little mini rant about how it wouldn't kill me to stay around once in a while and how I'm so rude and don't respect her. No I don't respect her but I at least attempt to act cordial!! I've gotten burned so many times by just being myself and I'm through with it!!! I'm an adult and sometimes just pushing through awkward situations are the best..I've tried and tried and tried to be this cookie cutter person for my dad and her and it isn't working so I just stopped about a year ago. Back to my grandmother..we're the lose cannons in the family. We are the ones that aren't molded into their perfect little world. Therefore we're the outcasts. I can only try so long and so hard to be what they want and honestly I think I'm out of ideas on what to do...

Back in January I took a survey on MySpace. I think one of the questions was about what are you confused or frustrated about and I had said "why my dad's gf has to be so mean all the time". She had just gotten the worst attitude with me and that was the day I ended up storming out of the house and honestly I haven't felt comfortable when she's been there since. Anyways at the time her daughter was friends with me on there...totally ripped me a knew one..called me a cunt and ranted forever about how horrible I am..for saying that her mom was MEAN. Cass talked to dad about this at one point and my dad defended his GF and daughter and basically said it was FINE for them to call me that because of what I SAID. Yes because me thinking someone is mean ..means that I'm a cunt..go figure.

Four years ago I got into a car accident and It sucked ass. I called my dad first hysterically crying and bawling and freaking out and needing help. He was at a family reunion about 45 minutes away from where I was. I asked him to come help me and he said he couldn't and for me to take care of it. I was really upset and I told him..uh ok and luckily was able to get a hold of William. William ended up coming out and helping me while my dad socialized his life away. Well the way the story is NOW told is that I called ..said William was going to help me and that he knew that I was in good hands and he didn't need to come. Which is 100% BS. I have been upset forever that my dad refused to come help me and he twists it around for her to make it look like it was my fault..isn't it bad enough that I was in a car accident..why add insult to injury and lie..

So in closing ..I won't be spending holiday's with the "family". I most likely won't be at the Hampstead house at all. I have no desire to EVER go there..If I can find somewhere to put my kid things from the house that will be my first priority. I'll just have to call my littlest sister a lot to know that I care about her but don't like everything that's going on. My family is screwed up and I want out..

Zoloft and the Bat Lady

So the past couple days have been interesting to say the least. I went to the GYNO and I was diagnosed with PMDD ...basically an extreme form of PMS..fun times fun times. Anyway so the crazy old bat lady of a gyno (seriously she was crazy..so she inherited bat lady from me as her given name) gave me 50mg of Zoloft to take every day for the week before the river runs red. I have never been on any antidepressants nor had I had a blood test or anything before this medication was given to me. I took one dose last night at 5:30 pm..About 3 hours later I was soooo hyper ..I felt as though I had a bunch of alcohol and that I was tipsy out of my mind and my concentration had gone down..I was watching a movie and I didn't know what was going on..It was really bizarre.

Throughout the night I was "sleeping" but I felt like I was awake..most bizarre thing..So I woke up and took my shower and felt as though I was going to pass out on the floor so I ended up laying down for a bit. At this point my heart started beating out of my chest..and this was just NOT enjoyable. I was starting to get the shakes really bad at this point too.

I somehow managed to get to work..even though it felt like the cars were coming after me..I get there and I can't sit still and I was having issues talking ..my speech was all fast and I would think of things to say and either not say it or totally forget it.

I ended up talking to my fave Nurse at work..and since she works there she knows how people should respond to meds. She took my blood pressure and it was higher than normal for me.

I was then allowed to go home. They just didn't feel safe with me driving myself so Heather got to drive me home and we had lunch and fun things etc so calmness would ensue as well.

Anyways before we left I called the Old Bat Lady's office and it took a half hour for them to call me back. She had said that ALL of the side effects were normal..(yes slurred speech is just amazing..guh), that I should take the medication before I go to sleep (which I also did), that I shouldn't take it with other medications that they should be staggered (I said I wasn't on any other medication! so it made no sense), and that I should KEEP taking this med that makes me feel like shit and call her on Monday.

I told them I didn't like the way it was making me feel and that I'm never taking it again. The nurse told me that she would pass that along.

I need a normal gyno that isn't 100 years old..and that doesn't ask me if I like pepsi while she's giving me a breast exam..thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No more! One appt with her was enough for a lifetime!

Of little eta again as of yesterday!Oh my!Actually yesterday was pretty fun I got to run around and finally cover a bunch of classes again other than being stuck in one (which I love teaching but it was great not to have the pressure of having to do the lesson plans and things! ) I feel a whole lot more relaxed. Today I had to cover all day..one class was HORRIBLE..but the rest weren't so shabby!

Planning vacation is still busy busy busy...

It's been quite hot outside, I didn't have my air conditioners in until yesterday so I haven't slept in my own bed in forever! I'm pretty excited about being there tonight!

I think Will i am and I have finally found an awesome apartment! And living near people that we both know would be nice..I am going to miss my place when I move though :( But I'm excited to be able to live with my honey..and afraid..lots of emotions.

Class is in less than 2 weeks..Hershey park is in a month and it's a little over 2 months til the cruise PLUS moving..craziest summer in a while but fun!

Shew, I kind of have a cold so I think i'm gonna finish this ep of Buffy and go to sleeeeeeep
